Midsummer Scream 2019 Returns to Long Beach Aug 3-4
The World’s Largest Halloween/Horror Fan convention returns to Southern California on August 3 & 4 2019 for a weekend of haunting fun. Halloween/Horror enthusiasts are in for a treat this August as Midsummer promises the biggest Halloween/ Horror convention full of vendors, presentations, attractions and live entertainment. Midsummer Scream is expanding and doubling the size for the 2019 show as they will occupy the entire Long Beach Convention Center.

Tickets on sale include single-day General Admission passes, as well as the very popular limited-edition Gold Bat Weekend Pass. The Gold Bat Weekend Pass includes early access one hour prior to convention opening to general public, guests access the show floor and other aspects of Midsummer Scream, front of line priority access to panel presentations and attractions throughout the venue, a collectible lanyard, credential and a Gold Bat 2019 enamel pin.
Presentation and Panels
Haunt fanatics will look forward to the major announcements, presentations and surprises that are revealed at Midsummer Scream by the leaders in the haunt industry such as Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights, Knott’s Scary Farm, Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor and Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest.
Hall of Shadows
Guests will enter the Hall of Shadows through an ominous jungle experience created by CalHauntS to enter the world of Tiki Terror. The enormous dark zone Hall of Shadows will showcase live stage entertainment, over a dozen displays and haunted attractions, and daily exhibitions by the Decayed Brigade slider team.
Artist and Exhibitors
Midsummers Scream show floor will be flooded with more than 300 artisans and exhibitors featuring unique artwork, props, Halloween accessories, clothing and makeup supplies. Midsummers Screams will have some of the favorite vendors from the past and welcoming some interesting newcomers to the show floor.
Live Entertainment
Midsummer Scream is full of live entertainment from the Hall of Shadows to the Theatre Macabre. Returning to this year Midsummer Scream are Zombie Joe’s Underground Theater Group, Force of Nature Productions, and Jimmy H as Mudd The Magnificent.
Black Cat Lounge
Kitten Rescue Los Angeles is partnering with Midsummer Screams for the four year in presenting the Black Cat Lounge, where guest can mingle with adorable felines at a decorated play space. The Black Cat Lounge gives the guest an opportunity to bond with the felines before they can provide them homes forever.
